How To Keep Wolfie-Warm!

And The Walls Come A-Tumblin' Down!

And PANTS, too!!

I think Belinda is getting spanked for breaking the fourth wall.

(And it's adorable!!)

You know what the "fourth wall" is, right?  That's the imaginary boundary through which we watch the characters in a play or movie, or even those in comics or legit literature!

And of course, "breaking the fourth wall" is where those characters acknowledge that you are watching them, and address you directly!

But it's not really a bad thing.  It's been done for dramatic and comic effect since Time Immemorial by the finest of people.  Why, Billy Shakespeare did it--

(That's Sir Ian McKellen as Richard the Third letting us in on his plot!)

George Burns used to do it on TV!

(I wonder if he was reminiscing about Bill spanking Gracie in a publicity photo for "International House" in 1933?)

Woody did it a lot!

Ferris Bueller did it!

Dave and Maddie did it!

John Byrne had She-Hulk do it!

Even Mike as Austin Powers did it!

Let's do it-- let's break the wall!

(Bulldog Drummond and his phone will make sure we can catch up later.)

Guest Writers!

Well, I did a "WolfieToon" every week for ten years for "Discipline & Desire," and others before, during, and after, so that's well over five hundred cartoons.

I don't know how prolific that makes me alongside guys like my buddy Phil "Overbarrel" or guys like Nik Zula or Endart (courtesy of OTK4U), but it is a bunch to do on one somewhat limited topic.

So once in a while I had Guest Writers.  Here are a couple of my favorites.  Not all of them, so I can post more later!

"D&D" Editor Reesa Roberts had a contest about seven years ago she cleverly called "Name That 'Toon!"
Here are the winners:

Here's one of the best from a great guy, Charlie "Tunasheart!"

And a topper from lovely Lady Larken!

More Larken Cleverness can be seen Here and Especially Here!

Happy Groundhog Day!

And we're not talking pork sausage here!

Accordion to my German ancestors,

today the groundhog, also known as the woodchuck,

will peek out of his cozy groundhole, and if it's cloudy--
 Spring will come early!

But-- if Chuck sees his shadow,

Winter persists another six weeks!!.

Now, all that doesn't sound strictly scientific,

however, it did lead to two WolfieToons!

This one, for various reasons, was never published!

As a matter of fact, I don't know why it's here now.

However, I re-did the joke some time later with a better cartoon!

So enjoy the day, and if you see Bill Murray, tell him I said, "Hey."

A Jug of Wine, A Loaf of Bread, and Thou Over My Knee

Sunday is the minor holiday known as Valentine's Day!  For your edification, NPR has an article about its origins HERE!

Meanwhile, Related Cartoons, starting with one I titled "Discipline And Desire!"

Can you tell this woman's on the phone?  Can you hear her girlfriend giggle?

An attempt at a Romance Novel Cover!

After Words

Fairy Tails, Part One

Fairy Tails. Part Two!

I believe I've discussed the story of Little Red Writhing Bottom here before!

But it's such a favorite!

Didja see the movie version of the play"Into The Woods?" Red is a part of that, and Johnny Deppmakes a great Wolfie, fashioned a little after the Tex Avery wolf!

(Here's the video from YooHooTube!)

Now, the original Broadway Wolf wore striped socks!

Because ALL Wolfies DO wear striped socks!

Size 14 Socks!

However, the Broadway Wolf, panting after Red, could've used PANTS!

And, yes, you ARE seeing what you THINK you're seeing.

The producers did cut that penis down(AAAAA!!) after the trial performances because its remarkable length was "too distracting."

Ya THINK??

The London version of the "Into The Woods" wolf was more Muppetish.

(Sorry, that's as clear as I can make those pictures!) .

SO--- Now comes the WolfieToon Version!!

Enjoy!!

Fairy Tales, Part Three!

Fairy Tails, Part Four-- Happy St. Paddy's!

And now, the climax to this series!

As all things Irish are celebrated this week-- by many, quaffing green beer and beverages made pure and healthy  by the distillation process--  one remembers the Faerie Folk of Lore, and the stories of their mischief!  Why, it's said they can even make you disappear, taking you right away into their magical realm!

And then who knows what the "Aes Sidhe" might get up to in their Faerie Mounds?!

I think I've mentioned here before that one of my favorite movies (there are lots) is Disney's "Darby O'Gill and the Little People!"  I was three years old when it hit the theaters.
("WOW, Wolfie, that movie's OLD!!"
"Sure 'n' it's a trip over my knee you're after!")

ANYWAY, it's a captivating, charming tale, with the beautifully-done special effects supporting the story, rather than being a distraction, like so many CGI things done now that only call attention to themselves.

This movie is especially nice for those of you with an appreciation for a young Sean Connery!

("Oh, and wouldn't I like to be feelin' your strong palm on my wee backside!")

And there are the wild and scary parts, like when the Banshee appears to herald the approaching death of the heroine!!

The Banshee's wail is indeed unnerving!!

So, here's a bit of timely folklore you may not have encountered!

Take heed, it could save your hiney!

And We'll Have Fun! Fun! Fun!

Account For Yourself!

EEK!

Didja know there are WolfieToons over on PINTEREST?

Well, there are, and it was Larken's idea!  Thank you, m'lady!

One of the things that pleases and amuses me about that is that a lot of the women over there who "like" and share my cartoons also feature boards on their Pinterest Pages about puppies and kittens and babies, fab clothes, recipes, travel photos, makeup tips, shoes, et al.

Often as not, we spankophiles tend to "partition" our interests on-line.  In my case, it's to avoid embarrassment for my young and/or uninitiated relatives, because otherwise,  I'm rather proud of my WolfieWork!  Most of it, anyway.

So it's refreshing to see these young women, moms, and grannies put it all up there, as if to say, "I have lots of personality facets, and some of them are sexual and humorously kinky!  So there!"

I mentioned this to Larken, who said, "There should be a word for that, you know, like Spanknilla!"

That's brilliant!  I'm going to start using it.

And, of course,"Spanknilla," to me, sounded something like--

More Topical Tax 'Toons

Skirting The Problem!

My formative years were happily spent in the Dawning of the Miniskirt, and a little later, Hot Pants.  Let's think about those little skirts and dresses.

As a life-long spankophile, this seemed like a very good thing to me!

One of many blogs I love to peruse is Harry's  "VANILLA SPANKING"!  Last week he had a piece on this very topic-- read it HERE! -- and quoted a remark printed in the UK's "TV Times" in 1970.  The alleged mother of a teen girl said that a naughty girl in a miniskirt is "self-prepared for a spanking" when necessary!

Whaddayaknow.  That is the exact sentiment in one of the very first WolfieToons I ever put on the Web!

I reworked that cartoon for "Discipline & Desire" later!

Here are some others with ladies who may or may not have thought to wind up over a lap when choosing the day's wardrobe!

(Don Roberts draws a car better here!)

Minis can be Inadequate Coverage--

--So think twice before wearing your mini to work!

Or to court!
(This is the very first WolfieToon that appeared at "Discipline & Desire!)

There are more where these came from!
Later, Gators!!

¡OLÉ! ¡¡Es tiempo para cerveza y azotainas!!

Actually, I prefer vino to cerveza.

I used to live in the Desert Southwest and should have known better, but I habitually confused Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) with Diez Y Seis de Septiembre (September 16th.)  Not because I'm calendar illiterate, but because of the Mexican holidays.

Cinco de Mayo is the celebration marking Mexico's unlikely victory over the supposedly superior invading French army during the Battle of Puebla in 1862.  Mexican Independence Day is September 16, and a really big deal!

I have that correct now?

¡Gracias!

Anyway, what better excuse reason for parties and paddles?!

¡¡Viva Los Nalgadas!!

(Oh, and if you're confused by that picture with Mel Blanc and Jack Benny or would just like to giggle at this again--)

School Ends!

As the graduation season is upon us, I thought a couple of school-themed Wolfietoons would be apropos!

(Having to mention this is an admission of Cartoonist Failure, but there are three jokes going on with that li'l lab rat who is adjusting her spectacles for the spectacle.)

And the distaff class does seem intent on furthering their grasp of things.

Was the impetus for that OTK Trip the young lady's lab work or her funny fashion faux pas?

There's always something up when these Imps are around!

All of which reminds me of the quote I encountered on the Web:  "Don't just seize the day, throw it right over your lap and give it a really good spanking!"

Oh, Teddy!

When I did this cartoon, called "Caught," five years ago--

I didn't know it was a "thing!" Look what I've found on the web since!

(Hey, that's Drew Barrymore!!)

That last one is a possibly improved version of this page from "The Lonely Doll" by Dare Wright:

Now, I had done Bears spanking bottoms before--

(A woman in France at Stan/E's blog said the idea of that cartoon was good but the "design is particularly ugly"--  I don't really disagree, but I don't have to go and redraw it now, either! Ha!!)

--and I have seen bear bottoms getting spanked, too--

--but I didn't know teddy paddling was so ubiquitous an idea!

Any thoughts on that?
